Thank You for Contributing to the Forum’s Key Questions!

As part of the 5th World Water Forum preparatory process, we invited you to help us identify the key questions you think are most pressing and to which the water community must respond.

Since December, approximately 200 of you have answered this invitation by offering your own suggestions and votes for the crucial issues and debates that should be present in the Forum. To date, we have received upwards of 460 questions from the community at large, all of which can be viewed here.

Your contribution has been an important step in providing guidance and structure for the 100 sessions that will be held during the Forum. Many of these questions were discussed in depth among over 400 stakeholders during the 2nd Thematic Coordination meeting held in Istanbul in February and will serve as the basis for the development of three to five sessions per topic that will be organized during the Forum, integrating different perspectives in order to provide answers to those main challenges identified within each topic.

For, it is not the questions themselves, but the solutions that we are able to provide and apply as a global water community that will make a difference in the sustainable management of water resources in the future. This is, indeed, the goal of the World Water Forum.

The questionnaire is now closed and we thank you for your enthusiastic participation that will enable the preparatory process to continue within the spirit of involvement that already characterizes the 5th World Water Forum.

Another interactive process will soon be launched through the website and will provide the opportunity to contribute more concretely to the development of specific Forum sessions.

We look forward to your continued involvement in this process. Stay tuned!
